Hello Neil,
I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful 4th of July. Can you believe that we have entered the second half of 2010? There is something to be said for the old cliché that " time waits for no one." We are starting to see our customers' business pick up. We hope this is a positive sign of things to come! On behalf of everyone here at Holland Industrial we thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your plant. Please enjoy the second half of the summer and be sure to wear your sun block (sun screen lotion) for your body's protection from the sun's ultra violet rays!

Soft Foot occurs when all four feet of a motor are not on the same plane. When the motor is tightened to its base, extra stresses are added to the motor housing because of the gap between one or more of the feet and the base. The stress, in turn, twists the internal workings of the motor. This video simply explains how this happens and offers a great solution for it.

In this global economy it is common for manufacturers to be shipping and receiving machinery from overseas. This pdf file contains information about the Industrial voltages, phases and frequencies of the various systems used in each country. Also included in the document is information showing the plugs used in the various countries.
The information was accurate up to 2002 and I think it is a great resource as well as a great use of our tax dollars.
